i hate css

do you have ANY idea how laborious CSS is?! so i wanted to change the skin on my wiki, the Timeless skin, right? well, turns out i checked it out and i was like huh it's fugly

see, it has colors all over the place. there's some wacky red and blue and green in the search (i still havent figured how to fix that, i will eventually) and wow. the header is blue, the underline for it is RED, the links are ORANGE, and the View/Main Page elements are vomit colored. wtf?? this theme is ugly as fuck

so thankfully they supply the source CSS on the mediawiki. nice. so i go into it, first used a CSS bot to change things around. but im like man, these colors, i cant seem tofind what specific things are colored what. the text, the body, this other header, this other thing, borders, etc. so i take a screenshot of my page and use a hex color picker to eyedrop and see, then ill ctrl+f and "replace all" to turn the links, headers, and all the other stuff to a monochrome brown and orange thing. now, it looks great! although... still have some other things broken, like infoboxes (wince)

things are starting to finally come together on this wiki. all i really need for it, more crucially now, is the appearance. step 1: skin, done-ish. step 2: the rest of the media. the characters, the logos, the favicon, all of that. i need help. gotta solicit my artist friends

here is some broken infoboxes and toc for your amusement. life hack: use inspect element to find what the element is that produces that color, then go into css and correct it. fuck yeha
